Visa applications for Russian citizens for the category family visit

Starting from 2nd of April 2026, Russian citizens outside Russia applying for a Schengen visa under “family visit” category will be subject to the same restrictions as Russian citizens within Russia: only visits to first- and second-degree relatives will still be permitted.
